Trust membership

Our Membership Scheme is open to anyone who would like to support our work with disadvantaged young people aboard our fleet of traditional vessels.

Membership is just £10 for the 2008 season.

Members are entitled to:

• Attend our Annual General Meeting and any Extraordinary General Meeting
• Receive appropriate reports on our activities
• Make recommendations in regard to our management
• Appoint new or additional trustees as provided by the Articles of Association of the Charity.

Members will also receive Newsletters plus details of any promotions and day sales.

You can also donate an additional voluntary contribution which will generally be put into The Cirdan Supporters Bursary account. As with all donations to our Voyage Bursary Scheme, these funds will be used to provide financial assistance to those who most need it to take advantage of a sailing voyage on our vessels. Anyone making a substantial donation has the option of setting up a separate Bursary account in their own name.

Please remember to initial the Gift Aid declaration box if you are eligible to participate in the scheme. It won't cost you anything to initial the box but it will allow us to claim an additional 28p in the £1 from Inland Revenue Charities.
